Step 1
Start with location and purpose
Choose the most reliable location information you know. If a neighbourhood is unavailable or spelled differently, begin with the city and narrow the results from there.
Select Buy or Rent before adding detailed filters because price ranges and suitable property types can differ significantly by purpose.
Step 2
Apply the essential filters first
Use a small number of important filters before adding preferences. Applying every possible option can remove relevant listings that use incomplete or differently formatted data.
- Country, city or available area
- Property purpose: buy or rent
- Property type
- Minimum and maximum price
- Bedrooms or property size where relevant
Step 3
Review the complete listing
Search cards provide a summary. Open the property page and check the description, photos, location, price, property facts, advertiser profile and available contact methods.
A listing can change after you save it. Confirm the price, status and availability before arranging a viewing or discussing payment.
Step 4
Save and compare suitable options
Use favourites for listings you may revisit and comparison tools for properties that are genuine alternatives. Compare total cost and condition, not only the advertised price.
- Location and access
- Price and recurring charges
- Property size and layout
- Condition and included features
- Advertiser or agency information
- Legal, inspection and transfer requirements
Step 5
Contact the listing contributor carefully
Use the contact options shown on the property or profile page. State which listing you are asking about and request current availability, viewing options and the documents needed for independent verification.
Do not send a deposit simply because a listing appears in search results. Independently confirm the person, property and payment process first.
Step 6
What to do when no suitable results appear
Remove the least important filters one at a time. Try a nearby area, a broader price range or a related property type. Avoid repeatedly changing every filter at once because it becomes difficult to see which condition excluded the results.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Can I search properties without an account?
Public search may be available without signing in. An account may be required to save, compare, enquire or use personalised dashboard features.
Why are there no results for my neighbourhood?
The location may not yet have active listings, may use a different spelling or may sit under a broader city or community. Search the city first and then apply nearby-area filters.
How do I find newly added properties?
Use the newest or most recent sorting option when available, then confirm the listing status because publication date does not guarantee current availability.
Can I trust the price shown in search results?
Treat the displayed price as listing information supplied by the contributor. Confirm the current price and any additional charges directly and independently before making a decision.
What should I compare before contacting an advertiser?
Compare location, asking price, property facts, condition, recurring costs, profile information and any legal or inspection requirements relevant to the market.
